Terms of use

By using HyperTrophy Rank (“the app”) you accept these terms. If you disagree, do not use it. The app is provided by [NOMBRE LEGAL DEL TITULAR / LEGAL NAME OF OWNER].

1. What the app is

A tool to log strength workouts and see estimates about your volume, symmetry, fatigue and strength ranks. It works without an account; the account is optional and serves the cloud copy and the social features.

2. It is not medical advice

Fatigue and symmetry are heuristic estimates: they do not measure your recovery, do not diagnose anything and do not replace a professional’s judgement. Strength ranks are a comparison with competition powerlifting data and do not adjust for age. Train sensibly and see a health professional if you have concerns about your health. You use the app at your own risk.

3. Your account

You are responsible for what happens with your account and for keeping access to your email or Google account. You can delete your account from the app at any time, which deletes its cloud copy (see the privacy policy).

4. Community

To post or comment you must create a public profile and accept the community rules. You may not post illegal content, content that harasses, discriminates or impersonates someone, nor use a name or @username that does. You can report posts, comments and users, and block anyone. We may hide content or suspend accounts that break these rules. [Link the full community rules here once they exist.]

5. Your content

It stays yours. You give us permission, limited to what is needed to provide the app, to store it and show it to whoever you decide (according to your public or private account and what you hide). You can withdraw it by deleting it or deleting your account. You warrant that you have the right to publish it.

6. Ranks and leaderboards

Ranks are calculated from what you log. The app discards absurd marks from what it publishes, but it cannot stop someone from entering false data: leaderboards are fun among friends, not a verified competition.

7. HyperTrophy Pro

Pro is a subscription bought and managed on Google Play, with the price, free trial and renewal the store shows. You cancel from Google Play; deleting the account does not cancel it. Logging workouts does not depend on Pro. Payment and refund terms are Google Play’s. [Review against Google Play policies at release.]

8. Availability and changes

We try to keep the app and the server working well, but we do not guarantee they are always available. We may change or remove features. Your local data is always the phone’s own.

9. Liability

To the extent the applicable law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from using the app, nor for injuries from training. None of this limits rights the law gives you as a consumer. [Legal review needed.]

10. Termination

You can stop using the app whenever you like. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
